Crystal Hefner, widow of late Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, has alleged that she experienced uncomfortable and non-consensual sexual encounters during their marriage, claiming she often felt obligated to comply with his demands even when she did not want to.
Speaking on the Lisa Guerrero Unleashed podcast, the 40-year-old said she frequently went along with what her husband wanted, including sexual activities that made her uncomfortable.
“I do believe that I did whatever he wanted me to do. And if that involved sex, then I just did what he wanted me to do,” she said.
Crystal recalled several intimate encounters she described as painful and distressing, questioning whether some of the experiences amounted to sexual assault.
She also alleged that Hugh attempted to pressure twins Kristina and Karissa Shannon into engaging in inappropriate sexual activity with each other.
“That is incest. That is disgusting,” she said, describing the alleged situation as deeply upsetting.
The widow further claimed that Hugh used unclean intimate items during encounters with women, leaving her feeling physically uncomfortable.
During the interview, podcast host Lisa Guerrero suggested that the experiences Crystal described sounded like sexual assault, and Crystal agreed.
Crystal and Hugh married in 2012 and remained together until his d+ath at the age of 91 in September 2017.
Crystal has since moved on with marine biologist James Ward, whom she reportedly married in April 2026.
